ride the rideau, september 11, 2010

Ride the Rideau is an exciting new cycling event designed to support some of the most important cancer research in the world. Research that is happening right here in our community at the Ottawa Hospital Research Institute.

On September 11th this 100 km bike tour will take participants from Ottawa to Merrickville-Wolford as they raise funds to help build the new Centre for Innovative Cancer Research at The Ottawa Hospital General Campus.  We realize that 100 km is no joke and neither is the contribution we are asking all participants to make. Our riders and the people and organizations who pledge them are the heroes who will help our researchers create new cancer therapies. This all adds up to hope for the future and better outcomes for cancer patients.
